The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has sued AmeriDebt, Inc., DebtWorks, Inc. and Andris Pukke for misrepresentations and deceptive omissions under the Federal Trade Commission Act. It has also sued AmeriDebt for violations of the disclosure requirements under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
