DAVID WELLINGTON CHEW, Justice.

Luciano Torres appeals his conviction for murder. Appellant was indicted with two counts of murder. The jury found Appellant guilty of Count I (killing the victim by striking her with a rock), and Count II (killing the victim by striking her with an unknown object) was dismissed. The same jury assessed punishment at 99 years' imprisonment and the trial court then sentenced Appellant in accordance with the jury...
