This case arose when appellee, Helen Kay Ludeman, brought an enforcement action against appellant, William Cox Miller, to recover $52,000 that Miller owed her under the divorce decree that had dissolved their marriage three years earlier. In response, Miller sought to overturn the underlying divorce decree through an equitable bill of review. Miller asserted that the divorce decree was the product of extrinsic fraud...
