In 1998, after waiving indictment, defendant was charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. In satisfaction of the charges, she pleaded guilty to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and was sentenced to four months in jail and five years' probation.
