Bryan County sheriff's officers seized a total of $14,710 in cash from the trunk of a car and from the pocket of passenger Travis Baker. The state initiated forfeiture proceedings, alleging that the money had been involved in violations of drug laws. Baker and Andre Barbary, the driver of the car, filed a claim for the money.
