A woman named Leatrice Warren was arrested by the Hammond police and charged with a variety of relatively minor (as these things go) offenses, including battery, intimidation, possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, all probably arising from the same incident and eventually resolved by a plea agreement the terms of which we do not know. When she was arrested, Judge Harkin of the Hammond City Court set bail at $6,800...
