¶ 1. CANE, C.J.

Kevin and Carol Kadlec appeal the circuit court's confirmation of an arbitration order. The arbitrator ordered them to pay one-half of a $48,000 commission for the sale of property in Iowa they owned jointly with David and Gayle Kadlec. Kevin and Carol argue the order should be vacated because (1) it went beyond the terms of the arbitration agreement or (2) it either represents a manifest disregard of the law or violates strong public policy....
