After his motion to suppress evidence was denied, appellant, Darwin Lendell Turner, pleaded guilty, without an agreed punishment recommendation, to possession of a usable quantity of less than two ounces of marihuana. See Tex. Health & Safety Code Ann. § 481.121(b)(1) (Vernon 2003). The trial court found appellant guilty and assessed punishment at three days' confinement...
