Appellant Louis A. Wass, Jr., ("Appellant") suffered a serious injury and received medical care in a facility owned by Respondent, Freeman Health System ("Freeman"). Prior to his treatment at Respondent's facility, Appellant signed an admittance form stating that he would be responsible for the costs of his medical care. Freeman seasonably submitted its bill to Appellant for medical goods and services in the amount of $5,073.60....
