McDowell Elvig (Elvig) appeals a trial court's order dismissing her sex discrimination case against the Calvin Presbyterian Church, the North Puget Sound Presbytery, and two Presbyterian ministers. She argues that a church and its employees are not immune from civil liability simply because they are religious entities. But because adjudicating Elvig's case would require a civil court to impermissibly examine decisions made by a church tribunal...
