COWIN, J.

The defendant, Danny Sespedes, was charged with trafficking in heroin and cocaine. See G. L. c. 94C, § 32E (b) (4), (c) (3). He filed two motions to suppress which were denied. The trial judge denied the defendant's motion for required findings of not guilty at the close of the Commonwealth's case; the defendant was convicted of the two charges; and he appealed from both the denial of his motions to suppress and the convictions.
