After the vinyl flooring installed by Nevada Carpet Broker and America's Carpet Gallery in Howard and Marianne Farning's house in 2001 developed air pockets, the Farnings sued the company's sole proprietors, Alvin and Cindy Brendal, for breach of warranty.
