Appellant, the City of Houston ("City") appeals from a judgment in a favor of appellees, Texan Land and Cattle Co. and Henry J.N. Taub ("Texan") concerning damages awarded under both inverse condemnation and statutory condemnation claims. The City asserts multiple points of error: (1) the trial court erred in finding as a matter of law that the City had "taken" Texan's property; (2) the trial court erred in awarding prejudgment...
