The plaintiffs here are individuals who were accused of child sexual abuse in Chelan County. After dismissal of the criminal charges against them, they instituted this civil action for damages against the City of Wenatchee and additional defendants. Among other things, they claimed that the City had negligently investigated the allegations of sexual abuse.
