Appellant pleaded guilty to the felony offense of possessing a weapon on a premise licensed to sell alcohol. At the plea proceeding, appellant waived his right to the preparation of a presentence investigation (PSI) report. The trial court deferred adjudication and placed appellant on three years' community supervision. The State later moved to adjudicate appellant's guilt.
