This review stems from an action by E'Van Frazier ("Frazier") against Athaniel Badger, Jr. ("Badger") for the tort of outrage. The jury awarded Frazier $400,000 in actual damages and $400,000 in punitive damages. The trial judge reduced the award to $200,000 in actual damages and $200,000 in punitive damages.
