This appeal arises from a personal injury and wrongful death case filed by Susan Renae Miles, individually and as executor of the estate of Willie Edward Searcy, deceased, and Ken Miles (collectively, Miles) against Ford Motor Company. Miles alleged that the seat belt in a Ford-manufactured pickup truck was defective because of a "tension eliminator," causing Miles's and Searcy's injuries in a collision with another vehicle...
