Appellant, Padrino Maritime Inc., appeals a default judgment entered in favor of appellee, Ernesto Rizo. By three issues, appellant argues: (1) it was denied due process of law because it was given no notice of the default hearing; (2) the trial court erred in denying its motion for new trial; and (3) the trial court erred in applying Texas substantive law because appellee's claims were governed by general maritime...
