PETERS, J.

Under General Statutes § 45a-98 (a) (3), a Probate Court is authorized to "determine title ... to any ... intangible property that constitutes, or may constitute, all or part of any ... decedent's estate...." In this case, the intangible property consists of the proceeds of a homeowners' insurance policy that were paid as compensation for the loss of personal property in a fire that occurred on the property of the decedent...
