Defendant, Guadalupe Solis-Martinez, appeals the sentence imposed following her guilty plea to criminally negligent child abuse. We vacate the sentence and remand the case for further proceedings.

In exchange for the dismissal of other charges, defendant pleaded guilty to criminally negligent child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury, a class four felony under § 18-6-401(1)(a), (7)(a)(IV), C.R.S.2003. The trial court sentenced...
