THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, Respondent, v. LUIGI DEANGELIS, Appellant.

The court's exclusion of defendant's brother from the courtroom during no more than a minuscule portion of a witness's extensive testimony did not violate defendant's right to a public trial. Given the extremely limited nature of this exclusion of this potential fact witness, we conclude that the People's showing of an overriding interest was sufficient (see People v Jones, 96 N.Y.2d 213
