{¶ 1} Appellant, Darryl Gumm, challenges the denial of his application to reopen his direct appeal under App.R. 26(B).

{¶ 2} Gumm was tried and convicted in Hamilton County for the 1992 kidnapping and murder of a ten-year-old Cincinnati boy named Aaron Raines. Gumm was sentenced to death for the murder.
