Ronnie Carpentier had a dispute with Coleman Construction Company regarding the cost of repairs and improvements to Carpentier's San Jacinto County real property.1 As a result, Robert Coleman, Inc., in 1987, placed a Mechanic's and Materialman's Lien against Carpentier's property in the amount of $3,089.
