Earlier sentencing courts failed to tell Dale Moore that he could not possess a firearm following his convictions. Those courts also suggested that he could put the matter behind him after he reached the age of majority. The question before us is whether the trial judge in the present case abused his discretion by dismissing an unlawful firearm possession charge based on the earlier sentencing courts' failure to warn Mr. Moore that he could not possess...
