MEMORANDUM OPINION

VASQUEZ, Judge.

Respondent determined deficiencies in petitioner's Federal income taxes as follows: (1) For the tax year ending May 31, 1995 (FYE 1995), $1,269,108;1 (2) for the tax year ending May 31, 1996 (FYE 1996), $527,216; and (3) for the tax year ending May 31, 1997 (FYE 1997), $718,914.

After concessions,2 the issue for decision is whether respondent abused his discretion...
