¶ 1. Eighteen-year-old Richard Jackson Jacobs was indicted for the capital murder of Robert Martin. Also indicted were Jeremy Martin and Crystal Broadus. The cases were severed. The jury found Jacobs guilty, but could not agree on a punishment. The trial court sentenced Jacobs to life imprisonment without parole. Jacobs's motion for a new trial was denied. Jacobs appeals to this Court and submits the following issues on appeal...
