The evidence introduced during the trial of this case would have warranted a finding that the plaintiffs' honeymoon at a Sandals Resort was ruined by a hurricane. What made this loss the subject of litigation as opposed to merely bad luck was Sandals' "Blue Chip Hurricane Guarantee" by which Sandals promised a "free replacement vacation with round trip airfare" if a hurricane "interrupt[ed]" a customer's stay.
