This is an automobile accident case. Michael Petranick, plaintiff, was in the middle lane of a three lane limited access road, and traveling between 55 and 60 mph in a 50 mph zone. Karl Steimle, defendant, was entering the roadway from a merge lane on Petranick's right, and was traveling about 45 mph.
