The defendant pled guilty to two counts of armed robbery as well as attempted armed robbery and theft in excess of five hundred dollars. He was sentenced to serve twenty years at hard labor on each of his convictions for armed robbery, fifteen years at hard labor on the conviction for attempted armed robbery, and five years at hard labor on the conviction for theft.
