This appeal arises from an attempt to recall Huey P. Dean, Mayor of the Town of Homer, Louisiana, pursuant to La. R.S. 18:1300.1 et seq. Patricia Sanders, the Registrar of Voters for Claiborne Parish, disqualified certain names from the recall petition on the grounds that they were either written in print or did not look like the names on the voter registration cards.
