On 1 October 2001, J. Frederick Dual, Jr. ("Dual"), purporting to act in the capacities of "President and sole shareholder" of Dual, Incorporated ("Dual, Inc."), filed a complaint in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City against Lockheed Martin Corporation and two of its subsidiaries (collectively "Lockheed").
