CARLSON, Justice, for the Court.

¶ 1. Gulf Insurance Company ("Gulf") appeals from a chancery court order denying its Motion to Compel Arbitration filed against Neel-Schaffer, Inc. ("Neel-Schaffer"). The motion was based on an arbitration clause contained in the insurance contract between Gulf and Neel-Schaffer. From that same order, Gulf also appeals the chancellor's preliminary injunction which enjoined the then-pending arbitration proceedings in New York....
