Howard Dean Dutton appeals from the denial of his motion to correct an allegedly illegal sentence. In that motion, Dutton asserted that, on September 9, 1999, he was already serving two sentences of differing lengths — one for 18 months, and one for 4 years — when he was sentenced to an additional 15 year term that was "to run consecutive to the sentence [singular] that you are currently serving."
