The court properly denied defendant's challenge for cause to a prospective juror. The panelist's reference to the possible influence of her experience as the victim of credit card fraud did not raise a serious question as to her ability to serve, and, in any event, the court elicited an unequivocal assurance of her impartiality and her willingness to follow the law as to the People's burden of proof (see People v Chambers, 97 N.Y.2d 417...
