This case involves a suit for an alleged breach of contract concerning the sale of weaner pigs. The term "weaner pigs" refers to young pigs in the developmental stage from the time of their birth until they are weaned from their mothers at a weight of seven to fourteen pounds, after which they are known as "feeder pigs" until they reach a weight of 50 pounds.
