This criminal appeal by Rodney L. Douglas ("Douglas") arises from the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, Louisiana. Douglas was tried by a judge and convicted as charged of aggravated burglary, sexual battery, and attempted second degree murder. He was found to be a third felony habitual offender, and sentenced as such to serve 100 years imprisonment at hard labor for attempted second degree murder. Douglas was also sentenced to serve 30 years...
