The state has charged Advanced Recycling, Inc., and its corporate officers named in their individual capacity, with one count of theft over the amount of $500 and one count of filing or maintaining false public records in violation of La.R.S. 14:67 and 14:133, respectively. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality [Department or DEQ] in 1997 into the operations...
