¶ 1. Robert Lee DeLoach was convicted of armed robbery in 1997. He did not file a notice of appeal until 2001. This Court dismissed the appeal as untimely. DeLoach v. State, 856 So.2d 388 (Miss.Ct.App.), cert. granted, 860 So.2d 1223 (Miss.2003). Our decision was reversed, and the case was remanded to us for a decision on the merits of the issues that DeLoach raised in his appeal...
