In this personal injury case, appellants, Officer Michael LaFleur1 and the Town of Cottonport (Cottonport) appeal a judgment of the trial court in favor of appellee, Dana Desselle. After denying the defendants' motion for continuance and at the conclusion of trial, the trial court found the defendants to be one hundred percent at fault for the damages suffered by Ms. Desselle. She was awarded a total of $450,480...
