From a 1967 blood transfusion administered at Morehouse General Hospital (MGH), Wanda Ann Day contracted hepatitis C, which resulted in her 1999 death at age 63. The decedent and her husband brought a product/strict liability claim based upon the sale and administration of defective blood.
