The defendant, Henry A. Dykes, Sr. ("Dykes"), was charged by bill of information with three counts of sexual battery of the juvenile A.G., in violation of La. R.S. 14:43.1(A)(1). After a trial by jury, Dykes was found guilty as charged. He was sentenced to serve ten years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence on each count.
