Defendant/appellant Quentin Wiley appeals his conviction of second degree murder (LSA-R.S.14:30.1) and attempted second degree murder (LSA-R.S.14:27, 14:30.1). This is a companion case to State v. Damaris Jackson1, who was charged in the indictment as a codefendant. Wiley was arraigned and pled not guilty to both charges.

Wiley filed several pre-trial motions, including a Motion to Suppress Confession...
