FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. On June 8, 2001, Maria Hernandez and Erica Salazar were shot to death. On August 9, 2001, Taiwan Hearvey, who was represented by Paul Moore and Kevin Howe, waived his right to a formal indictment. The State of Mississippi filed a criminal information charging Hearvey with the shootings. Hearvey pled guilty to both of the slayings. Hearvey was sentenced...
