Plaintiff, Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., appeals the judgment of the trial court nullifying a purported transfer of property upon which it had granted a mortgage and holding that the notice of lis pendens filed by the State of Louisiana outranked its mortgage. For the following reasons, we modify and affirm.
