¶ 1. On August 4, 2002, Larry Keith Lewis was involved in the shooting death of Paul Goodman. During the incident, Lewis's wife, Cynthia Lewis, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck which she miraculously survived. As a result, Lewis was charged with the murder of Goodman and the aggravated assault of Cynthia.
