¶ 1. In 1994, in the Circuit Court of Oktibbeha County, Willie Jerome Manning was convicted of the capital murder of Alberta Jordan and Emmoline Jimmerson who were killed during the commission of a robbery. On July 25, 1996, Manning was sentenced to death in each case. On March 31, 1999, this Court affirmed Manning's convictions and sentences on all grounds except a Batson issue.
