Defendant-Appellant Andres Sanchez-Cruz illegally reentered the United States following his deportation. Mr. Sanchez-Cruz was arrested upon his reentry, and an information charging him with violating 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a) was filed. Mr. Sanchez-Cruz waived indictment and pleaded guilty to the charge contained in the information. At his plea colloquy, Mr. Sanchez-Cruz was informed that he faced a maximum sentence of twenty-four months...
