While operating a vehicle owned by Harriet Gonzalez, Douglas Sibley struck a house rented and occupied by Olivia Lynch. Ms. Lynch filed suit against Mr. Sibley; his insurer, Safeway Insurance Company (Safeway); and the insurer of the Gonzalez vehicle, Progressive Insurance Company (Progressive).
