Following his conviction in a jury trial of three counts of aggravated assault1 and the denial of his motion for new trial, Juan Mondragon appeals, arguing that the trial court erred in forcing him to proceed to trial without representation after he stated that he did not wish to be represented by his court-appointed counsel. For the reasons which follow, we affirm.
