In an order dated February 10, 2004, this three-judge court ruled in favor of the plaintiffs on their claim that the existing reapportionment schemes for the Georgia House of Representatives and Senate violated the one person, one vote principle firmly rooted in the Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause. We therefore enjoined the defendant from further use of those plans in any future elections, and we gave the Georgia General...
